The main gateway to Belgium, Brussels (BRU) is one of the smaller major European airports, located about 11 km northeast of the capital. The Brussels airport shuttle is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to get to and from the heart of Brussels, and many of the city’s top hotels, as well as offering transportation to the surrounding area. Shuttles generally leave from the departures hall, and a journey into the city center takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The shuttle option is ideal for anyone traveling with a lot of luggage or who has difficulty with mobility. And there is plenty of reason to visit the historic capital of Belgium, whether for a long weekend or an extended stay. The city is home to the European Union, several excellent museums, as well as the Grand Place, perhaps Europe’s most beautiful square.
