Why Should I Use Natural Deodorant Paste?

Natural deodorants are becoming increasingly popular as more information is now available about harmful ingredients in normal deodorants. A natural deodorant paste is usually made with baking soda and botanical ingredients such as herbs, coconut oil and essential oils that add fragrance and have antiseptic and antibacterial properties. There is a wide variety of natural deodorants on the market in different fragrances.
Natural deodorants are believed to be safer alternatives to normal deodorants that contain aluminum (which is used to block sweating). Aluminum has been linked to possible risks of many diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer. As deodorant is applied to the armpits where important lymph nodes are located close to the skin’s surface, using aluminum-based deodorants is believed to increase the risk of many health problems. Deodorants often contain many other synthetic ingredients too, including fragrances and preservatives that may cause allergies.
