Veterans are people who actively serve the country and live a full military life protecting and fighting for the nation. Unfortunately, after a VET retires they do not have a life of luxury or comfort awaiting them on the other side. Many have lost their family members, and do not have financial savings or income to lead a normal life. Most VETs find it challenging to transition to civilian life and with financial and emotional stress many veterans go into depression. To help the military people after retirement many charitable organizations and government sponsor programs set up Donations for Veterans programs and encourage people to contribute to this cause. The donations help the organization to give financial assistance to the VET, help them to find a place to live, and give them the resources to lead a normal and healthy life.
