PSS Antistatic Coating Liquid wi51 is a dark blue liquid with a neutral pH. It is commonly used as an antistatic treatment of plastics including PET, PVC, ANS, PP, PE, and PS. It’s an excellent primer that increases adhesion and wettability.
This liquid offers several benefits. Most antistatic agents are affected by humidity which limits their use and performance. This one is an exception and is considered to be part of the new generation of antistatic agents.
It is commonly matched with PET materials since it can reduce surface resistivity to about 105 ohms/sq. This is far beyond the abilities of traditional agents. It can even be diluted up to 10x to create a very thin coating. It can resist alcohol and transmit visible light well.
It’s an eco-friendly water-based product that is easy to store and use. It has a non-irritating odor.
