The Mystery Creek Fieldays event happens every year in Hamilton, New Zealand. It takes place at the Mystery Creek Event Centre. Started in 1968, it is a huge show for farmers where they view the latest in farming equipment and innovations. Fieldays is loaded with plenty of product displays, contests and places to shop. There is even an area to watch professional chefs create gourmet meals. This show is considered to be the biggest agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere.
Spend the day perusing the grounds and view the many displayed agricultural exhibits and artwork. It is a family-friendly event where you can learn interesting facts such as tidbits about New Zealand’s dairy prospects and meet Rosie the Cow. Afterwards, take the kids to the petting zoo to view cute little rabbits and pigs. Then you can visit one of many food establishments and fill up on delicious international cuisine.
