Composition cards (a.k.a. composite card, z card, red card, sed card) are essentially business cards for models. This is your opportunity to share the latest and greatest work from your portfolio.
Typically a standard comp card is a lot bigger in size than a standard business card. In fact, these are also slightly bigger than a post car. Typically they’ll measure 5.5″ x 8.5″ and are printed on both sides.
You’ll need to include a lot of pertinent information on your comp card. On one side you should have your name, stats (e.g. name, height, measurements, hair color, eye color, shoe size, dress size), and headshot.
Regardless of where you want to take your career, if you’re serious about getting there, you need to have a comp card. If you plan on doing different types of modeling, you’ll need to have different set ups for each type.
