Qualifications and eligibility

Age limit

All applicants must be at least 18 years old and must also possess a valid motor vehicle driving license. The bare minimum is the provisional P2 – green license.

Citizenship

Fire & rescue NSW only accepts applications from Australian and New Zealand citizens or persons who are permanent residents of Australia. For proof of citizenship, you shall produce your national identity card or a passport. Recruit training
