DOT Supervisor Training – Regulations To Monitor Drivers

DOT Supervisor Training is a schedule session or a series of meetings that are under the provisions of the Ministry of Transportation. The training covers the different types of substance abuse, and what are the predictive indicators to tell if someone is under the influence. When the supervisor takes this training, they learn how to identify such problems in their companies, especially when it comes to transportation. The supervisors will have the understanding to look at the drivers and collect reasons to raise suspicions of drug or alcohol use by the drivers. Based on the findings, the supervisor can ask the driver to appear for a schedule or unannounced drug testing. The supervisor training under the DOT stipulation is mandatory for all the supervisors and administrators who deal with the transportation division of the company. There are also resources available online to take these lessons.
