As such any fires need to be dealt with quickly and completely, and that takes trained and dedicated firemen. Given that training for the fire brigade is never an easy matter this means that there is usually some aggressive hiring going on in all the various fire departments.
Becoming a fireman requires not just the physical training, although it needs noting that such training is the most strenuous part of the training. There is also some basic training in first aid and the training covers some explosives and chemistry. Some military training is preferred, and will definitely make the physical aspects easier.
