Hydronic slab heating is possibly the best heating system in the world of domestic heating methods. So what is it exactly and why is it beneficial?
It is a very efficient heating system that uses multitherm PE -RT polyethylene pipes to circulate hot water through them using the water boiler in the house. These pipes are installed underneath the slabs to slowly heat the slabs and house. The biggest benefit of this system is that the heat is slowly emitted, meaning the house can stay warmer longer. The second benefit is that because the heat flows into the slabs, it also retains the heat that much longer, and so does not use as much energy as another typical heating system and means it is also a great system of insulation from the heat source itself.
It is a brilliant system that will be used more and more.
