How the Salesforce GitHub Pull Request System Works

Salesforce GitHub is a new project aimed at making working at Microsoft’s (MS) origami collection a little easier and more intuitive. The Salesforce Software Association is the lead organization behind this project and works closely with Visual Studio, the tool-set that powers Visual Studio and Microsoft. This new project brings together two powerful development tools into one to make life a little easier for software engineers. According to the SF Blog, Michael J. Cafarella, the principal investigator for the project, has made it clear that having both sets of tools in a single system is not only “good for developers” but also “good for Microsoft as a whole.” Hopefully, this will eliminate some of the frustration that software engineers have been experiencing when they have to switch from one tool to the other or even try to find a tool that works with one system while using Visual Studio for another.
