Just like there are many types of patients when it comes to occupational therapy, so do you find many different types of medical devices used for these patients, whether for treatment or daily living.
One of the more interesting devices is the Shower Seat.

This is a device which comes in two forms:
- 1: THE FIXED DEVICE: this is when a professional medical device installer or manufacturer installs a fold up or fold away seat, made of strong and durable plastic with a cover on the seat made of waterproof and durable but soft and comfortable rubber, in a patients shower.
- 2: THE PORTABLE DEVICE: similar to the fixed device as in material but comes in a form a chair that has sturdy legs that has strong gripping feet to prevent slipping around in the shower.
