Greenplum Database Replication provides business organizations with a viable means to handle ever-increasing big data. To meet the challenges of loading data in a much faster fashion, the EMC Data integration Accelerator (DIA) leverages data integration applications, which take advantage of Greenplum’s bulk-load capabilities. ETL applications are able to load data into the Greenplum database quickly because the Scatter/Gather Streaming (SGS) technology eliminates bottlenecks. The big data sets handled in the transactions are typically used for a wide variety of purposes, including data warehousing and large-scale analytics. The data flow into various nodes of the database is managed by the Scatter/Gather Streaming (SGS) technology, which uses Greenplum’s parallel data flow engine nodes. The technology does not need the support of additional systems or programs to function properly.
