Software Architecture is the design of higher-level structure of a system. It consists of a set of consistent patterns and abstractions that provide the framework.
The approach is selected and designed based on objective constraints as part of Software Development Solutions. The objectives are prefixed to the information system, but not only the functional type, but also other objectives such as maintainability, auditability, flexibility and interaction with other information systems.
The constraints are imposed by the technologies available to implement information systems. Architectures are more suitable for implementing certain technologies while other technologies are not suitable for certain architectures. For example, it is not feasible to employ a software architecture of three layers to implement real-time systems.
It defines the abstract, the components that perform any computing task, their interfaces and communication between them. All architecture should be implementable in a physical architecture, which is simply to determine which computer will be assigned each task.
