In 2010, a study was made on the type of rock and the geological characteristics, the physical-mechanical properties of the rock and the volume of rocks to be started. In addition, an analysis was made of the Water Bore Drilling and blasting works in quarries, apart from that, the properties of the explosive substances used in these works, their initiation system and blasting sizing parameters were also studied.
This article presented the analysis and design of the operation of drilling and blasting in surface mining using the approach of structured programming. The purpose of this work was to create an interface, through which enter the density of the explosive, diameter and inclination of the perforation, resistance to compression of the rock and dimensions of the bank. Then we obtain the value of the most important variables that condition the design of the drilling and blasting operation, such as: bank height.
