What Determines Perspex Sheet Prices?

If you look around a store, you will notice that Perspex sheet prices vary. The difference between each is usually not that big but this can become significant for bulk orders. Two of the main factors that influence price include:

Thickness

Sheets come in a range of thickness as different applications will sometimes require thin strips while others will benefit from thick ones. For example, office signs don’t really need to be thick but walls certainly do for durability. Of course, all things being equal, the thicker options will be more expensive as they contain more of the material.

Type

There are numerous types of acrylic sheets. Most common are the clear transparent ones but there are also coloured and frosted kinds. Others have special textured patterns on the surface. There are excellent options for decorative items though they do cost more than the plain ones.
