CAPM certification(Certified Associate in Project Management) is a standardized learning programme for students by Project Management Institute. It upgrades the management skills, credibility and performance on professional platforms.
It also provides the knowledge and capability to perform on global level. The students certified by CAPM hold distinguished profile and are on priority list of employers. They become capable of managing large projects and seek result oriented approach.
The eligibility criteria to apply for CAPM certification is secondary qualification and minimum 1500 hours of project experience or 25 hours of project management education. A total of 150 multiple choice questions are to be covered in 3 hours of examination. It is valid for 5 years only from the time of passing the exam.The certificate holders require to earn 15 PDUs (Professional Development Unit) to maintain the certification. The PDUs are earned by attending professional events or by accomplishing courses.
