Choosing your bikini for a competition is an exact science. It must be perfectly tailored, the right color for your complexion and flattering in all the right places. A lot of thought went into picking your swimsuit and your bikini competition shoes should be no exception. Here is what to look for when you go shopping:
Comfort Height
How you look on stage has so much to do with how you move. If you cannot move gracefully in a pair of heels… move on. No matter how cute they are, if you have any doubt you can walk properly in them – move on. While a 1/4 inch taller heel than what you normally wear does not seem like much… your entire arch shifts and you WILL notice.
Fit
The right fit is imperative. If the heel you love slides up and down – you will get a nasty blister and be in agony the entire competition. Do not be driven by style alone.
Color
If you have short legs, opt for a nude hue close to your skin tone to lengthen your legs. Many contestants also prefer clear heels but colors that pop on stage are always en vogue.
